ABOUT SHRUTHI V.
Hi! My name is Shruthi and I\'m an undergraduate student at McMaster University, majoring in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. My interests lie in the areas of clinical, developmental psychology, and neuropsychology. Studying the human brain and behaviour has always been an area I have been fascinated by. I am passionate about mental health de stigmatization & advocacy, and bridging barriers in access to mental health care. I would like to apply the theoretical, and empirical knowledge I gain by studying human behaviour towards betterment in the field of research and healthcare through a person-centric, and culturally sensitive approach. I appreciate beauty in the world around me, as well as my experiences which I express through photography, writing and art. You’ll find me travelling or pursuing these interests in my free time. I\'m skilled in research, creative writing & editing, and critical thinking.
