About Shrushti Mehta

I am currently working at Cognizant AI Research Lab in San Francisco, CA. At Cognizant, I focus on designing multi-agent systems that address real-world challenges while also contributing to the maintenance and advancement of open-source repositories and platforms that support the broader AI community. I thrive at the intersection of AI research and practical implementation, where I enjoy turning innovation into measurable impact.Previously, I worked as an Applied Research Intern at Siemens (Bengaluru, India). There, I built and end-to-end synthetic data generation system, including text-to-image, text-to-video, and video-to-3D scene pipelines. This work reduced data acquisition costs. At Calit2 (UC Irvine), I created synthetic datasets to train deep learning models. These efforts improved the accuracy of temperature forecasting in thermal energy storage systems.During my undergraduate studies at NMIMS University, I published four research papers. My work included multimodal and transformer-based models that achieved state-of-the-art results. I also gained experience in the financial domain, building algorithms for trading, profitability analysis, and strategy optimization. Additionally, in consulting, I optimized logistics and inventory management for a U.S-based specialty gemstone distributor.I enjoy connecting with people who share my passion for AI, generative models, and agentic systems.
