ABOUT SCOTT ROGERS

Instinctively a problem solver, with a strong bias for ownership and action, I continue to be excited by new opportunities to deliver positive change and transformation. At my heart is the passion that comes with working with people to effect that change and transformation. I have designed, grown and shaped teams – identifying and mentoring talent, developing resilience, and instilling an ethos of loyalty, positivity and inclusivity. This has been honed in teams ranging from <10 to often with significant cultural diversity and geographical spread. Throughout, my approach of listening, supporting and setting appropriate challenges has resonated with, and inspired, my teams.Underpinning this is a skill set honed over time and by experience – whether that be strategy development, operational planning or service delivery. I am very comfortable with risk, complexity and ambiguity – able to realise the opportunities that often come with uncertainty. I have enabled highly successful outcomes, whether designing and implementing change initiatives, building teams, structures and processes from the ground up, or optimising strategies, plans and outputs. I am a generalist: able to get the best from people, processes and technology, to build high performing teams that exceed expectations and believe in delivering outstanding customer experience. And able to achieve those results irrespective of sector, discipline or function. I understand the importance of communication, negotiation and influence in achieving beneficial outcomes with partners, internal and external.
