I work at this very intersection.As MD, Global Head of Industry at SWIFT, Shriyanka is committed to advancing public-private collaboration,policy and innovation alignment and to developing research and insights that shape industry outcomes and strengthen the collective resilience and inclusiveness of the global financial system.Shriyanka also serves on boards of SWIFT India - a public-private partnership and the London Women’s Forum,advisory boards such as Emerging Payments Asia and hold industry roles in committees convened by Central banks, BIS and think tanks.In the past, she led SWIFT’s global product organization between 2021 and 2024 that serves 250+ market infrastructures responsible for delivery and execution of standards and ISO20022 community adoption, critical infrastructure upgrades and go-lives (AuNPP, CHAPS, T2/T2S to name a few) and strategic product evolution of the Standards portfolio.Prior to Swift, Shriyanka was Global Head of Payments Strategy at Oracle, Chief Solution Architect for IBM India & South Asia, and Head of Payments at iGTB. In these roles, she built and scaled business lines, led complex transformation programmes, and advised some of the world’s leading transaction banks. With deep experience across financial systems, market design, and regulatory engagement, Shriyanka is known for driving complex, cross-sector initiatives and recognized for bringing the depth of a practitioner and the macro-vision of board leadership to executive decision-making. As a people leader she specializes in creating new organizational units with globally distributed multi-disciplinary talent to land a cohesive ‘one team’ - Intrapreneurial.Shriyanka’s career in payments has been diverse and enriching with opportunities to shape and define products and platforms, refine policy and deliver on winning partnerships and P&L. She is now on a journey committed to building inclusive, safe, and forward-looking financial systems and helping institutions navigate macro risks with clarity, purpose, and impact.
