ABOUT SHRIYA BISWAS
I am a senior at Union College (NY), double-majoring in Neuroscience and Political Science. I will begin my PhD in HDFS at the University of Delaware after graduating in June 2026. You can visit my research portfolio here: https://tinyurl.com/shriyabiswasI have 3+ years of research experience and have pursued several interdisciplinary research projects mainly in the fields of cognitive neuroscience, human-AI interaction, health disparities, neuro politics, and computational science. These have given me a strong background in research and enhanced my analytical and problem-solving skills. I am interested in studying the role of our brain at the intersection of behaviour and society, especially how emerging technologies like AI affect brain function and cognition. In addition, I am also interested in health equity and hope to conduct research that informs more inclusive, accessible, and ethically grounded approaches to healthcare and understand better how policy and science intersect.Outside of work, I enjoy writing, listening to music, exercising, and going on unplanned side quests!
