While working with an NGO recently, I noticed that many of their ongoing needs — especially around tech support — could be effectively handled by student teams with the right guidance. That’s how Bit by Bit began: a platform that connects students with NGOs and mission-driven organisations for short-term, hands-on projects. The organisations get access to useful tech-based solutions at no cost, while students gain practical experience, exposure to real-world impact, and the opportunity to build purpose-driven portfolios.Since then, we’ve collaborated with organisations like The Banyan, Mohan Foundation, and Women’s Voluntary Services, and I’ve been working to bring more organisations and universities on board to help scale the initiative.I also had the opportunity to intern in investment banking, where I worked on financial data collection, research on family offices, and deal preparation. I was drawn to the structure, pace, and real-world problem solving it demands — and the opportunity it gives to work closely with businesses and strategy from an early stage. Since that experience, I’ve been learning more independently and am looking to deepen my exposure through more hands-on opportunities.Alongside these experiences, I’ve worked in external and industry relations for club-organised university festivals like Kurukshetra (an certified techno-management fest) and Enantra (South India\'s largest entrepreneurship fest).These roles have helped me build a strong foundation in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement — whether in nonprofit, corporate, or campus ecosystems.
