I am working with Standard Chartered Bank as Credit Risk Manager, with a total work experience of over 11 years across varied roles. My current role as Risk approver involves credit assessment of organizations in the MSME space and overall portfolio analysis. At ICICI, my role primarily entailed policy framing for Mid Corporate Group, Channel finance and SME. With the movement of these portfolios to model based assessment, continuous model monitoring and checks on the model behaviour were also part of my responsibilities. I also carried out Covid impact assessment of the entire portfolio at regular intervals since March 2020. Prior to working on the risk assessment side, my earlier stint with ICICI Bank, Kolkata was on business side for 3 years as a part of the mid corporate group. Along with managing existing portfolio, new clients also had to be on-boarded with end-to-end implementation of documentation and other client requirements. I also have experience of credit assessment of real estate companies which was a part of my role in ICICI Bank Bengaluru. I began my financial journey with CRISIL where my profile involved working on company ratings, loan appraisal and business development for Mid corporate group clients.When not assessing credit, I like to spend time playing tennis, badminton or cycling with my son.
