ABOUT SHRIPRASAD KAKADE

I am someone you can rely on, both personally and professionally to get the job done right. With a fun-loving spirit, I bring positive energy to any team I am a part of.In my current role, I am responsible for managing the Radiometric Products Portfolio at VEGA India. This involves wide range of tasks including reviewing RFQ documents (Request for Quotation), Perform radioactive source sizing calculations, techno-commercially suitable product selection and maintaining communication with both internal and external customers.Radiometric Applications Expertise: Level, Density, Flow, Interface/Multiphase, Coke Drums, Chunk Detector System etc. I am also engaged in product marketing activities by delivering product & technology presentations at customer places as well as at different technical events showcasing VEGA’s offerings and capabilities.I am responsible for handling AERB aspect as well (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board ). This primarily involves radioactive isotope database management, obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals for VEGA’s line of source holders and other compliance related matters. In my previous role, I worked as a service engineer in the field of process instrumentation where I gained valuable experience in the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of various field instruments. As a Radiation Safety Officer(RSO) I am well-versed in handling and start-up /commissioning procedures for nucleonic gauges.
