ABOUT SHRINIVAS MALEKAR

I’m a B.Tech graduate in Data Science, currently working as a Quantitative Research Analyst at 1 Finance, where I began as an intern in early 2024. My journey here has involved a deep dive into building scoring and ranking models, conducting quantitative fund research (NPS schemes, mutual funds), market index construction, macroeconomic analysis, and developing automated data pipelines using tools like Python, Excel and PostgreSQL. Beyond my professional role, I have a strong foundation in visual storytelling, having worked as a digital creatives artist since 2020. Over the years, I’ve designed event posters, infographics, promotional videos, websites, and digital marketing content—bringing data and design together meaningfully. I’m also deeply committed to community service. I’ve been an active member of the Rotaract Club of Bombay Airport (RCBA) for the past five years and currently serve as the HRD. From organizing food and sanitation drives to hosting educational sessions for underprivileged children during the pandemic, my RCBA journey has been a source of personal growth and purpose. I’m always excited about projects that blend data, design, and impact—and eager to explore what’s next in the world of research and innovation.
