   The Unemployment Insurance system modernization encompassed a comprehensive transformation of the Tax, Benefits, and Appeals system, along with public-facing applications for citizens and employers. This initiative aimed to enhance the overall system by streamlining processes and improving efficiency. Notably, the modernization involved the implementation of state and federal interfaces to facilitate data exchange for federal reporting and fraud prevention, thereby increasing the efficiency of the state at the national level within the U.S.• Implemented FRAUD Prevention solutions by integrating the following SaaS solutions into the iGovern application: o LexisNexis (utilizing ThreatMatrix, Linking, Emailage, Quiz & digital insights) o Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise o ID.me o Custom-built fraud prevention algorithms (like IP address pattern, user login pattern, duplicate email or phone, duplicate account number, etc.)Business Outcome: It helps customer to reduced malicious traffic, blocking 95% of fake account creation (and 100% of fake account logins).• Implemented change requests proposed by the end client to meet specific business needs across various UI benefit systems.• Implemented the ELK stack to analyze and visualize application logs in real-time.• Worked in a DevOps model, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), with automated deployments using Jenkins and Ansible.• Performed vulnerability assessments using various tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP Proxy, HCL AppSec, and Acunetix to identify & fixed OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.• Revamped and modernized legacy components of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) application.
