About Shri Thanedar
Over 30 years experience in developing products and solving manufacturing quality related problems for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, automotive, health and beauty, neutraceuticals, and variety of other industries. Served as expert witness for over two dozen litigation support cases involving patent infringement and product failure.Purchased a small chemical testing lab in St. Louis Missouri with revenues of annually and grew the business to $14 million in revenues with $4 million EBITDA and sold the business and associated real estate for a price in excess of $26 million. Acquried eight different companies over 20 years, including a pharmaceutical services company with annual revenues of $2.2 million, which he grew to $50 million in revenues in 2008. In 2008, the pharmaceutical business was offered for sale and received 21 offers ranging from $90 million to $132 million. Due to recession, the sale never closed. Shri, after loosing it all, restarted his business in Ann Arbor MI as Avomeen Analytical Services. Avomeen was twice Inc company and Shri won Ernst and Young \"Entrepreneur of the Year\" award in 2016 for his new company. He sold his company in 2016 and announced his candidacy for Governor of Michigan in 2017. Organic, inorganic, polymer, and analytical chemistry, failure analysis, de-formulation, material characterization, product defect analysis, infrared spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and a variety of other analytical instrumentation. Familiar with scientific instrumentation such as FTIR, NMR, GC/MS, LC/MS, TGA, DSC, SEM, EDS, ICP, AA, DMA, TMA.
