About Shreyas Pasumarthi
Hi there! I\'m a Master\'s student in Data Science at USC and a Data Engineer Intern at LinkedIn on the Premium Data Science team. I\'m also a graduate of UC San Diego with a B.S. in Mathematics–Computer Science. I’m on the lookout for full-time opportunities starting Summer 2026 in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or data science. I’ve been programming for over 7 years, which has taken me from writing code to process NASA International Space Station data, to leading teams of interns on NLP recommender systems, to building AI agents and hosting a data science podcast — all fueled by a mix of curiosity, creativity, and a lot of debugging. I’m passionate about using technology to make life better for people — whether that’s through smarter systems, cleaner data, or better tools for decision-making. I thrive at the intersection of engineering, storytelling, and human impact. Outside of tech, you can find me hiking, snorkeling, or playing the kalimba.
