About Shreyas Kv
As a Software Engineer – Cloud & DevOps at Ellucian, I leverage my skills in AWS, Python, and DevOps to design and implement scalable and efficient cloud solutions. I have experience in containerizing and migrating EC2 applications to ECS, addressing OS patching incidents, and developing a Python-based inventory system using Boto3 functions. I also have expertise in hosting serverless deployments on AWS Lambda with DynamoDB as the single source of truth for further automation work.In addition to my technical skills, I am passionate about applying AI and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. During my internship at Ellucian, I architected and developed a Virtual Service Desk with three modules and a dedicated data lake for efficient incident handling. I specialized in the Incident Summarization module, implementing a model inspired by BERT and GPT-3 for effective summarization and resolution matching. I also leveraged AWS services, including EC2, Lambdas, S3, Kafka, and others to host the end-to-end process flow. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Engineering at New York University, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in cloud computing and AI.
