As a Senior Associate Director of Group Finance at HSBC, I am responsible for end-to-end ownership of finance controlling activities for HSBC entities which includes Period End Closing, Financial Planning and Analysis, and reporting as per IFRS framework. I have over 12 years of rich experience in Accounting, Reporting, and Controlling, with particular emphasis on shared services, change and transition management, process automations, process reviews / controls, and corporate cultural challenges. I hold multiple professional qualifications, including ACMA, CGMA, Dip. IFRS, and CA.Prior to joining HSBC, I worked with UBS - Credit Suisse, British Petroleum in Finance Controlling & FP & A, leading various RTR related projects and ensuring timely and accurate financial statements preparation and analysis as an Legal Entity controller for 5 entities across APAC and EMEA regions. I also have extensive experience in external audit, having worked with Big 4 firms EY and PwC, serving a diverse portfolio of clients from various industry segments, such as Automotive, Manufacturing, Real Estate, IT, Renewable Energy, and Consumer Goods. I have a strong accounting background and in-depth knowledge of IFRS, Ind AS, IGAAP, SA\'s, IFCFR, and SOX Audit compliances.
