AWS Fargate is a serverless compute offering for containerized applications which eliminates infrastructure management and helps customers accelerate their go-to-market time through its simplicity. My work focuses on improving the service\'s availability, resiliency, patch release cadences, testability and database scalability- Spearheaded a scale testing program for critical components of the service to identify scaling bottlenecks by simulating load and outages- Worked on improving the speed of patch releases for the Fargate platform by reimagining the platform deployment and validation processes, resulting in increased CVE remediation within SLAs- Led the development of patching schedule controls feature for AWS Fargate workloads (EC2 event windows)- Worked on identifying imminent critical scaling cliffs, helping address them through a variety of approaches such as scaling out & up as well as architectural changes to improve efficiency.
