ABOUT SHREYA MAHAJAN

I’m a driven Industrial Designer who loves turning complexity into clarity, shaping messy problems into meaningful, user-centered experiences. My work lives at the intersection of systems thinking, storytelling, and empathy, helping decode how people think, work, and feel.As an intern at Boston Scientific, I explored the intersection of Human Factors, Industrial Design, and UX while working on live medical device projects. I redesigned a cardiac procedure handle using ergonomic evaluation, and data-backed insights; contributed to HMI UX research and interface design; supported an ethnographic research platform; helped in EMG testing, and participated in VOC analysis and usability engineering across multiple healthcare initiatives.Beyond formal projects, I actively participate in design competitions and have been a finalist in two IIT competitions. While winning is rewarding, I value the learning, constructive feedback, and rapid growth these platforms offer even more. Outside of work, I’m a movie lover, a big foodie, and someone who looks forward all year to exploring Ganpati festival installations, my absolute favorite season!From healthcare to toys and mobility, I enjoy building solutions that feel intuitive, meaningful, and grounded in real user needs. Always learning, always evolving, and excited to collaborate on impactful design challenges!
