About Shreya Venkat
I\'m a junior at Purdue University dual-majoring in Computer Science and Economics, with a minor in Math. I\'ve tried my hand at multiple disciplines, from working in software engineering, where I learnt to build creative applications quickly and at-scale, to cybersecurity, where I\'ve worked on honeypot development, as well as web and network security. Having thus discovered a passion for efficient programming and secure systems, I followed through to the logical end: embedded systems and robotics. So, I got involved through projects and research. I\'m now a robotics researcher at the CoRAL lab at Purdue, building a project that makes novel use of augmented point-patch reinforcement learning within the robot training pipeline. Ultimately, I love a good challenge, and am always open to new opportunities :)
