ABOUT SHREYA R.
I hail from a coastal city in India that has not only been witness to, but has been repeatedly ravaged by several extreme weather events. This was one of the biggest motivations for me to learn more about the energy transition and climate resilience. Now, as a young professional working for a multilateral development bank, I aspire to help other countries / cities and businesses across the world adapt to this changing world, via their transition to a low carbon future. I am particularly interested in designing innovative climate finance instruments by leveraging carbon markets as well as clean energy based and cost-efficient solutions for electricity markets.
