About Shreya Nad

Having worked at Intel since 2016 as a Senior Process TD engineer, Staff engineer and then as a Staff Process Development Integration engineer, I have been honored to be a part of one of the world\'s best fabrication facilities and some of the best teams in the company. It enabled me to have an intricate involvement in the semiconductor manufacturing process with insights to multiple aspects of the entire production line from the inception of a new product to the delivery to customers.Expertise in - Statistical and processing control; technology development; high volume manufacturing (HVM); ramp up of new production lines; technology transfers; multi-team integration; pathfinding, among others. My research as a PhD student has been on the growth of single crystal diamond substrates and its characterization for applications in the optical and electronic industry. The goal of this research was to synthesize large and high quality single crystal diamond substrates which can then be utilized for high power electronic devices, heat sinks etc. My research involved chemical vapor deposition of diamond substrates within a microwave cavity plasma reactor. The growth strategies developed during this work has enabled us to make significant progress in the field of large single crystal diamond substrates. Expert in characterization techniques - optical microscopy, DICM, birefringence imaging, AFM, EDX, UV/Vis and FTIR spectroscopy among others. This work resulted in one US patent and three publications.
