ABOUT SHREYA KAMDAR

A practitioner of the adage-\'Do one thing a day that scares you\', my perseverant attitude paved the way to take up exacting roles like Product Manager, CAD Design Coordinator, Business Analyst, Customer Service Sales Associate at a major retailer and Co-Founder of a small-scale business. I spearheaded my firm\'s dormant offshore teams to deliver results through process improvement and revolutionized the onboarding/appraisal processes, which witnessed a 65% rise in metrics. Hitherto, I was involved in the extreme ends of Retail Industry as a Co-Founder and a sales associate. While establishing my business, I was able to learn negotiation, pivotal for building business relations and to analyze trends and target consumer preferences. My internship experience in analysis and project management at CPConverge helped me build an analytic acumen. This summer, I got the opportunity to intern at Ford Motor Company as a Product Manager in a software delivery team focused on user-centered design through Agile/XP. Innovation has been an integral part of my persona leading me to win the Intern Innovation Challenge at Ford.To gain a more diverse skillset I ventured beyond academics and chaired multiple student organizations. I am also very passionate about social service and modeling, I was selected for the Femina Miss India competition. I am a versatile and enthusiastic person seeking new challenges that give an opportunity for self-improvement. A staunch believer in the liaison of IT and business, I aspire to contribute to the symbolic growth of the field. Hence, after graduating in the top 5% of the Electronics and Telecommunications Department at D.J Sanghvi College of Engineering, I am now pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Kelley School of Business. With a compassionate heart, a zeal to learn and a conviction to excel I pursue new opportunities.
