I am a Computer Science undergraduate at San José State University (Class of 2027), deeply passionate about the intersection of finance and technology, particularly in quantitative systems, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making in capital markets.My interest in fintech began when I discovered algorithmic trading and the idea that structured data, when modeled well, could drive real-world financial decisions. That fascination led me to explore how backend infrastructure, statistical models, and real-time data pipelines power everything from equity research to risk management and automated trading systems.In 2023, I interned at TaxNodes (via ML First Technologies), where I worked on scalable backend services for financial document processing and data analytics. I also contributed to building visual dashboards that influenced product and UX strategies. Later at Infibeam Avenues, I applied data science techniques to analyze user behavior across large events, generating insights that improved operational planning and customer satisfaction.I\'m particularly interested in how blockchain and smart contracts can bring greater transparency and automation to finance, from decentralized identity and KYC to tokenized assets and programmable compliance.I’m actively seeking internship opportunities in quantitative research, machine learning engineering, or backend/data roles in fintech, where I can contribute my technical skills and curiosity to solving complex financial problems.
