Heart Rate Variability (HRV), SpO2, and Blood Pressure (BP) Algorithm Development- Led a 6-month project to develop an ML model to accurately calculate Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) using multi-modal data from our device (ECG/PPG/Temperature signal derived metrics)- Implemented signal processing methods such as filtering, wavelet transform and feature extraction to extract metrics like HRV, SpO2 and BP calculation from ECG/ PPG signals- Created test suites and productionized algorithms in the AWS cloud- Designed and conducted experiments to troubleshoot sources of poor signal quality. Designed and conducted BP studies to map PTT values to BP values in line with the standards. FDA 510(k) Submission- Contributed to the development of a hospitalization risk prediction algorithm (Software as a Medical Device)- Performed statistical analysis using Python and SQL to validate the algorithm against physician adjudication. Created a formal report with descriptions of statistical tests and visualizations- Proposed a new clinical study and statistical analysis plan to address data gaps. Data Analysis Project Lead- Led a data analysis project using a large dataset from a field study to determine the usability of our product and patient adherence- Worked with upper management to outline requirements and deliverables for the project- Conducted regular 1:1 brainstorming and feedback sessions with junior analyst- Project culminated in a PowerBI dashboard and a report for review by upper management and other stakeholders. Cloud Architecture Redesign- Wrote large portions of the code base to interact with the new front-end design and AWS RDS- Created lambda handler functions and test suites for different steps in processing data from the MouthLab device- Set up serverless offline to troubleshoot issues in the sequence of AWS lambdas locally prior to deployment. Set up a Docker container with MySQL and MinIO for local testing.
