ABOUT SHREESHA VAIDHYA

I am an electric mobility innovation and energy transition consultant with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration in Automotive industry. I am passionate about making cities more liveable and sustainable by specifically focusing on urban mobility transformation. Currently I am involved in several EU-funded projects (SCALE, MultiRELOAD, Clean Bus Europe Platform, EAFO), working to take sustainable mobility and digitalisation and automation aspects in freight sector forward. I believe great strides can be made in this direction by anchoring the needs and goals of cities and its people at the centre and I want to translate research into practice, fostering collaboration and harnessing the synergies of public-private partnerships. Through these projects, I have had an opportunity to analyse the needs of a wide range of stakeholders in electric mobility, asses the underlying policies and governance models in both private and public transport driving the transition forward. My innate driving force is the responsibility that we carry as a generation to preserve a habitable and an enjoyable natural reserves that our planet Earth has to offer by contributing through my research and project management skills in solving the urban mobility problems we face today which, I believe among other aspects, are mainly the consequence of designing and developing car-centric cities. My key interests and strengths lie in urban mobility scenario building, technology & innovation management, strategy development, market research, project management and business development. By continuing to be part of city transformation projects especially in creatively building proposals in green energy, electric and automated mobility, and public transport innovation, I aim to translate my interests and strengths to winning projects allowing us all to bring the change, one project at a time.
