Worked on NPD of Thermal Energy storage based Solar Chest Freezers and Solar AC.Modelled Systems for Solar Freezer, Solar AC and Visi-Coolers with software tools such as GT-Suite, MATLAB, DW-Sim to construct the mathematical model for the physical system with 85 - 90 % accuracy.Designed the system with GT-Suite and MATLAB coupled with the analytical calculations for heat transfer and thermodynamics.Worked on the system level modelling of new cooling technologies like Vapor Absorption Refrigeration System, Freeze Point Suppression, Dessicant Dehumidification and Evaporative Cooling, Magnetic refrigeration with simulation softwares.Explored the energy storage methods like Thermal Energy Storage using sensible and latent (PCM) materials.Worked on Solar panels and battery sizing for the systems.
