Reflecting on my journey from 2013 to now proudly announcing my promotion to General Manager - Human Resources brings back memories of the challenges and triumphs that have shaped me as a professional. I recall my first assignment in 2013 with \"The Arvind Store\" as part of the Retail division. I learnt the ropes of being a true business partner, made mistakes and grew with every challenge. The journey from brainstorming ideas to leading pivotal projects has been very rewarding and fulfilling. In 2017, moving from Retail to manufacturing Denim Textiles, I didn\'t anticipate what challenges could come (including COVID). The continued thrust to learn and acquire knowledge helped me overcome everything that came along the way. Then in 2021, it was time for me to undertake a larger role within the group and was chosen to manage the Textiles-Wovens, Knits and Retail Businesses.In late 2022, another opportunity knocked my door and this time it was something exciting, fascinating and something one would always dream of in their careers. I was chosen to set up India\'s first Fully Automated Garmenting Facility- a Green Field Project for the Group with a whole team of Expats. The expectations were to focus on building a great working culture, and set the best HR practices. This has now come to life, and we\'ve built something we\'re very proud of as a Group.These experiences combined with hard work, constant learning have yielded tangible results. It has been an incredible journey with the Arvind Group, and I\'m grateful for the trust placed in me.
