ABOUT SHRE CHATTERJEE

I am passionate about AI / Machine Learning / Data Science along with low power Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (IoT). Through my PhD and post-doctoral experiences (from the University of Southampton, U.K), I have gained hands on knowledge and expertise in these domains, thereby giving me the edge for bringing in futuristic solutions to any progressive organization. For me, constant up-gradation of knowledge is an iterative process, and if I have to pick two of my biggest strengths - it has to be my ability to learn / grasp new concepts and ability to form strong teams and collaborate. Prior to my current role, I have worked at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (The MTC) in Coventry where I was providing AI and ML based solutions to various clients. My role also included writing project proposals for internal and external funding, in order to provide innovative and futuristic solutions for manufacturing. One of my previous association was with the automotive industry where I was a part of the senior management team leading 6 departments within SMR (UK) including Automation, Production Engineering, NPI, Tooling, Maintenance and Control systems. I was responsible for setting up KPI\'s, budgets, leading my teams to meet their personal business objectives (PBO) amongst other responsibilities. I have also worked in the Micro-fabrication (Semiconductor) industry where one of the projects I was involved with was the world\'s first rollable display using thin film transistors (TFT) on polymer substrates. My responsibilities included leading a team of senior and junior technicians within a cutting edge environment to produce flexible polymer based displays. The role included setting up KPI\'s and PBO\'s for my team.I have over 17 years of experience in industry and academia, and I intend to combine my vast experiences to bring in enormous value to organizations who can utilize my skills.
