   PayPal - PayPal Everywhere (PPE) iOS app is a high-performance app that allows users to manage finances, shop offers, send and receive money, and make secure payments online and in-store through the mobile app. The scope of the app is to expand the application to Europe primarily to Germany, UK and support multiple financial institutions, its services and integrate the existing system to add various banking and investment options for the users to enhance its usability, enabling seamless transactions across multiple channels. The focus is to expand features for smooth shopping experience from within the app, focusing on security, improve fraud detection measures to the users. The app features contactless payments via NFC, QR code scanning, bill splitting, and cryptocurrency trading. This involves using Swift (all versions), Objective- C, Apple iOS Core, CocoaTouch, iOS SDK frameworks by leveraging a modular architecture like MVVM-C to ensure scalability and maintainability and integrate with RESTful APIs for handling secure transactions, with data encryption using TLS to protect user information. To provide a smooth user experience, various modules are developed using SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and user authentications are managed through biometric security (Face ID, Touch ID) using Local Authentication to ensure secure access. Additionally, the app explores AI-driven personalization to improve user experiences and offer tailored financial advice. The app includes Core Data for local storage to cache data and improve performance, Continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing and release process, ensuring regular updates with new features and security improvements to provide support for both iPhone and iPad devices.
