Hey!I am currently working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Mechanical Engineering at Adani Cement, where I am responsible for the mechanical maintenance of critical machines involved in cement manufacturing. My role focuses on maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment such as Vertical Roller Mills (VRMs), gearboxes, motors, couplings, compressors, ID and FD fans, and pumps. I regularly carry out lubrication, greasing, and oil top-up activities while monitoring equipment performance and reliability.Alongside maintenance, I am involved in technical documentation, managing work permits, and adhering to plant safety protocols. I also contribute to the design and development of new mechanical components and assist in modifying existing parts. My responsibilities include checking machine geometry, verifying dimensions, and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T) to ensure precision and accuracy. This role is helping me build a strong foundation in core mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, and plant operations while strengthening my skills in design, analysis, and technical execution within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
