Currently working with Network Rail I am responsible to implementation of consistent station capacity planning guidelines across the network with a focus on station performance that delivers safe and comfortable environment for passengers, are future proof, resilient and affordable.As part of Network Rail\'s Long Term Planning Programme I am responsible for identifying stations that may need enhancements over the next 10 to 20 years on Kent, East Coast, East Midlands and West Coast Mainline routes. I am currently providing station design and operational advice for the enabling works that will lead to the delivery of a new High Speed Rail station and an integrated classic mainline station at Euston; an interchange at Old Oak Common with HS2, Crossrail and Great Western Mainline; as well as the proposed rebuild of East Croydon station for the Brighton Mainline Upgrade Programme.Over the last couple of years I have provided design and station operational advise for the £650million London Bridge Station Redevelopment project. More that 25 percent of all journeys to and from the Zone 1 of London pass through or use London Bridge station. Safe and efficient station operations along with the timely completion of this challenging phased construction project on budget is of utmost importance to Network Rail, Train Operators, station users and the wider industry.
