About Shradha Kataruka
I work at the intersection of future of work, workforce transformation, and people analytics - basically where questions about how work gets done meet what data is actually telling us.Much of my work starts with a reality many organisations find themselves in today: work has changed rapidly through growth, technology, new expectations but clarity hasn’t always kept pace. Roles evolve, effort shifts, new tools are introduced, yet the underlying work system isn’t always fully visible. That point of seeking clarity is often the real starting point. That’s where I come in. At Deloitte South Asia, I spend my time breaking down work into its real building blocks - tasks, effort, skills, time, and then rebuilding it using data, operating model thinking, and a strong human lens. I work on things like workforce models, task architectures, AI and digital FTE opportunities, people pulse surveys, and culture signals, not as isolated exercises, but as one connected system. From there, I translate workforce data into clear, scalable people strategies - the kind leaders can actually act on. This includes rethinking grade mix, redesigning roles, identifying where AI augments vs replaces work, and making sure productivity gains don’t come at the cost of employee experience.Culture and experience are a big part of my work too. I work closely with people pulse and engagement data to understand not just what employees say, but what it signals about workload, growth, fairness, wellbeing, and trust. The goal is always the same: move from scores and dashboards to decisions and behaviour change. What motivates me is practical, grounded impact; turning workforce data into clear people strategies, and turning those strategies into changes leaders can stand behind, teams can adopt, and employees can experience as real improvements in how work feels and functions.I’m especially interested in conversations around- Human-centric, AI-enabled work design- Workforce and operating model transformation- People analytics as a strategic tool- Culture, experience, and productivity working together, not in silosAlways happy to exchange notes, learn from others in this space, and build better ways of working thoughtfully, responsibly, and with data doing the heavy lifting.
