During my internship at Cardinal Pediatrics, I had the opportunity to work closely with medical assistants and nurses, gaining hands-on experience in pediatric patient care. I assisted with booking appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth workflow within the clinic. Shadowing the doctor allowed me to observe patient assessments, medical examinations, and treatment plans, deepening my understanding of pediatric healthcare. I also supported medical staff in preparing exam rooms and comforting young patients during their visits, etc. This experience strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, further fueling my passion for healthcare.
