I am a seasoned and self motivated finance professional with more than 15 years of experience. I have gained experience with leading financial organizations supporting fund managers needs by providing technical support (SME) related to accounting and tax including the analysis of projects, regulatory change and other initiatives impacting financial reporting while working and managing a team of 8 people in an offshore team and maintaining a strong client relationship along with auditors and tax agents to sign-off financial statements, fund distributions and tax calculations (tax returns and company tax provisions). My recent client coverage includes various investment and boutique fund managers across financial services industry in Australia with global investments. I have gained significant experience in fund administration and accounting across below work areas:• Listed Companies, ETF’s, Hedge funds, Private Equity, Mutual funds, MIS/MIT/AMIT, Alternative investment funds, Real estate funds and unlisted unit trusts.• Worked with Australian boutique fund managers and gained experience on numerous fund specific requirements (Investors Mutual Limited, QV Equities, Palisade Investment Management, BetaShares ETFs and Legg Mason Asset Management)• Worked on numerous US and UK based hedge funds such as Galleon, Blue Ridge, Black Stone Kalix, ACQ • Responsible for Accounting and P&L Analysis of derivative products – Equities, FFX, Swaps, Futures, Options, Swaptions, Forwards, Credit default Swaps (CDS), Repos, Fixed income & other derivatives (including OTC Derivatives).• Overseeing end to end NAV calculation, pricing analysis, Bench-marking, Performance and fee calculations.• Extensive understanding of Accounting standards and principles (GAAP, AASB, IFRS, IAS) and Australian and international tax regulations.
