ABOUT STEVEN VAN DE PAVERT
Zoom out, and appreciate where humanity stands today. We are in an incredible transformation within data and technology on the one hand, and in biotechnology and patient care on the other.I feel privileged to do my part where these exciting fields merge, and thereby making an impact on improving patients\' lives.I have spent 20 years within all things neuro, focusing on innovation to support patients with neurological disorders. Academically, I researched the brain from behaviour through to mitochondrial mechanisms of neurodegeneration, ultimately leading to me completing a PhD focused on MS.My industry efforts have all focused on obtaining high quality real-world and clinical trial evidence, as part of senior management of a medtech AI company (icometrix), supporting phII and endpoints for specialist vendor (Signant Health), and currently ensuring we have all required evidence in place for our prioritised assets (Takeda Nordics). All opinions and views are my own, and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of my employer.
