Market Application Production Support Analyst assisting the trading floor within a Top 5 Bank. • Worked closely with trading and sales desks by supporting the data flow of Credit/Munis trading with specific focuses on in-house internal applications and data flows to external ECNs to cover trade life cycle, trade capture, risk management and PNL. • First point of contact for traders/trade assistants to resolve issues with traders tools and other applications which will have fiscal impact if not resolved quickly. • Responsible for real-time restoration and triaging of issues impacting technical services(application/infrastructure) in a timely manner while keeping relevant stakeholders and partners advised of progress/challenges. • Perform incident management during Major Incidents while assessing initial severity, gather business impact details, creating and updating tickets to reflect current information regarding developments from IT technical teams • Perform Log Analysis and isolate production issues during time of Incident and relay information to respective developers and application stakeholders • Utilize monitoring tools for the maintenance and continued operations of Market Applications (Geneos ITRS, SPLUNK, etc) • Perform SOD + EOD systems checks for Trading Applications as well as perform handover to respective global teams. • Assist in change releases in applications/legacy sheet releases as well as perform post release checks and if needed rollback procedures. • Perform Access requests for Traders, Developers, other MAPS personnel. • Develop and maintain documentation for reference as a knowledge base for training and incident management.
