   Serve as liaison to authors, prospective authors, and in-house departments during the publishing process for online, looseleaf, and bound volume products. • Process manuscripts and online content from author delivery through handover to Content Operations• Ensure editorial content is delivered to Content Ops in required data formats and structures for both print and online publication, including electronic files with accurate metadata tagging, adherence to OUP xml conventions, etc.• Help ensure that editorial workflows successfully migrate from their current print-first orientation to an online-first orientation• Assist with market research and the review and development of product proposals, including without limitation soliciting peer reviews for new proposals and reader comments for submitted manuscripts• Work with the Editorial Director, other editors, marketing, and internal and external electronic product development resources to launch and redevelop online products• Ensure internal systems (e.g, ABC) timely and accurately reflect the status of assigned editorial projects• Maintain strong relationships with authors and external editors, ensuring timely delivery and turnover of new and updated editorial content• Prepare and maintain product information for marketing, including but not limited to NBAs (New Book Announcements).• Law Blog: work with recently published authors to produce blog articles building interest in the OUP Law Blog and increased book sales.• Responsible for submitting authors newly released titles to Book Awards, resulting in greater sales of their titles and winning awards.• Database Quality Assurance: Responsible for checking updates to several databases including Oxford Constitutions of the World (OCW) and U.S. Constitutions (USC) including proofreading for structural and content errors.
