There comes a point when you realize life is shockingly short and that you must invest your time in things that matter. Invest in people. Invest in your community. Invest in outcomes that matter. I have now spent six years in HR and have had the honor to share in so many lives and stories, it has been a gift that has changed my heart for the better. This sounds like a farewell and in reality it is far from it. I feel like in many ways I am just getting started. I want to change the face of HR from a machine full of so many meaningless words to what matters most - resilient leaders regardless of their circumstances or position. A company should want the best and invest in the best. There seems to be a lack of bravery these days, so much group thought, and a lack of allowable discourse. Companies should not want worker drones but leaders or leaders in the making, individuals not afraid to question when something does not make sense. HR that empowers both the company and the employee into an unstoppable force.Let\'s do this!
