ABOUT SHOBNA KANNUSAMY
With over 25 years of cross-disciplinary expertise, I\'ve dedicated my career to fostering transformative change in leaders and their teams across various industries. From engineering and software development to hospitality and e-commerce, my entrepreneurial journey has been guided by a commitment to purpose-driven coaching and authentic leadership. At the heart of my coaching practice is a deep understanding of emotional intelligence, applied neuroscience, and mental fitness, complemented by a mastery of effective communication, creative framework improvements, and process optimization. My work is focused on human connection, pushing beyond limited beliefs and crafting purposeful partnerships that drive impact, inspire growth, and cultivate resilience. As a facilitator, I design and lead workshops that empower entrepreneurs, leaders, and their teams to navigate change with agility, build real connections, and enhance performance. Through these engagements, I not only share tools and strategies but also ignite a passion for continuous learning and self-discovery, with a focus on emotional intelligence, DEIB and leadership development.Beyond my coaching and facilitation work, I channel my passion for community and belonging into hosting the Colour Me Brave podcast. Here, I explore themes of entrepreneurship, parenthood, courage, and vulnerability, all through the lens of women of color. It\'s a platform where stories are shared, insights are uncovered, and a sense of community is fostered. I also volunteer my time as the Mentorship Program Lead for WORTH Association, and have served on several non-profit boards from roles of Director at Large to Chair, namely Growing Chefs and Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra.I am driven by a desire to help individuals and teams discover and unleash their authentic leadership potential, enabling them to thrive in their communities and beyond. I truly believe that together, we can achieve more than we ever thought possible.
