Development of the clients brief and statement of requirements into a design brief. Preparation of the concept design to visualise the client’s aspirations into solid form. Progression of the developed design liaising with external consultants and building services to produce outline specifications. Guiding clients through the Planning process and advising on how current Planning policy will affect schemes. Preparation of technical designs and specifications sufficient to co-ordinate components in accordance with Building Regulations and statutory standards. Preparation of production information on a wide variety of projects in sufficient detail to enable tenders to be obtained and for construction purposes. Acting as contract administrator on projects ranging from £20k up to £6.4m. Administering and managing projects under various forms of JCT building contractAdministering the building contract through to practical completion. Administration of the building contract after Practical completion through to expiry of making good defects period and final certificate. Working with Building contractors post tender on Design and Build projects to produce working drawings and take the lead role with co-ordination of various consultants to ensure synergy in all aspects of the project.Responsibility as team leader and supervising staffMember of DMBC\'s Design Review PanelFully chartered member of M.C.I.A.T
