About Shlok Nanani
Hi! A little bit about me. I\'m a sophomore at Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Science, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. My academic journey includes rigorous coursework in Object-Oriented Design, Data Modeling, Computer Systems, Algorithms & Data Structures, and Foundations of Cybersecurity. I am a student trying to figure out what journey best fits me in a subject that I am passionate about, which has many fields, but one thing I know is tackling coding problems that come up in a project or my algorithms and data structure homework is something I enjoy immensely. The feeling of happiness and achievement when you solve a problem that you have spent time and thought critically about is unmatched. This summer I had a great opportunity to work at a fin-tech I think the most important thing I learned other than the technical skills that I grew like version control, API usage, or database knowledge and testing, I learned the value of commitment to deadlines, effective communication, and building professional relationships. This experience not only deepened my understanding of computer science applications in the financial sector but also taught me the nuances of work culture and professional etiquette. I am enthusiastic about furthering my software engineering, information technology, and systems analysis expertise. I\'m keen to explore opportunities that challenge me to use my skills in project management, quality assurance, and problem-solving to contribute to innovative solutions in projects.
