WORK HISTORY
Senior Director of Technology @高通
San Diego, CA, US
Led and managed multiple critical teams within the global SoC organization, including Low Power IP Design, 3rd Party IP, Timing Methodology, DFT Methodology & CAD, and SoC Circuit & System Research. Led the development and methodology for adaptive voltage and frequency scaling (AVFS) power management technology and IPs. Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams (System, Hardware, Software, Validation, and Testing) to enable technology and feature integration across diverse SoC applications, including Mobile, Compute, AI/Server, XR, Automotive, Connectivity, RF, and IoT. Successfully deployed adaptive power management solutions on CPU, GPU, DSP, NPU, and Modem subsystems. Directed the development and methodology for SoC and subsystem (CPU/GPU/NSP) thermal and limit management technology and IPs for Mobile, Compute, Automotive, and AI accelerator SoCs. Oversaw the development of SoC power management strategies, power estimation techniques, and embedded sensor IPs. Championed and drove the adoption of low-power design methodologies, encompassing power gating, retention, power domain crossing FIFOs, adaptive power muxing, and overall power optimization. Led the integration and support of 3rd party IPs (SERDES/PHY and foundation IP), including the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs), procurement support, vendor engagement and enablement, and Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) analysis. Successfully managed the landing, system integration, and support of various 3rd party SERDES/PHY IPs, such as USB2/eUSB2/USB3/USB3DP/USBPD/PCIE/Display/Camera/HDMI/100G Ethernet PHY. Directed the development of 3rd party IP landing and Quality Assurance (QA) flows. Led the development of advanced Design-for-Test (DFT) solution technology and flows. Developed a proprietary tool to analyze and enhance designs for Static and Transition Fault (SAF/TDF) test time reduction.
