About Shiza Shakeel
I am an ECE MS Student and Teaching Assistant at UW-Madison, where I support the instruction of two courses on introduction to electrical engineering and Real-Time Digital Signal Processing. I use MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and wireless communication technologies to apply and demonstrate the concepts and techniques of these fields. I have been awarded the ECE 2022 Chancellor\'s Opportunity Fellowship for my academic excellence and potential.My goal is to leverage my expertise in embedded systems, wireless communication, and digital signal processing to create innovative and impactful solutions for real-world problems. I have published two research papers on AI and seizure detection, and I have gained valuable experience as an Engineering Development Program Intern at Eaton, where I engaged in firmware development with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capable smart home devices. I am also passionate about project management, product management, and entrepreneurship management and I have received multiple honors for my contributions to these areas.
