Be tenacious. Never give up!\"I am a mechanical engineer by trade - I like to make things move. I am equally, a strategic business and project engineer – I enjoy the challenges of exploring opportunities to practical and profitable fruition.Today, in my role as CEO of ACG Packaging Materials, I am also a ‘value engineer’, steering collaborative problem-solving teams to deliver packaging solutions that are not only innovative, practical and cost-effective, but deeply in-tune in with every customer’s unique challenges. Creating an environment of freedom to explore and exchange ideas among ones fellows and business partners is something I learned first-hand in many different working settings, companies and cultures globally over the decades. I have seen how powerfully transforming, human empathy and understanding can be. My personal leadership approach (and here I’ll borrow from some of barrier packaging’s ideal physical properties) is to create Clarity, Transparency, Consistency, Integrity, and Trustworthiness. ‘Walking the Talk’ and getting my hands collaboratively ‘dirty’ is also something that come naturally to me. Exploring Pharma’s ever-advancing technologies keeps me on my toes. Anticipating our industry’s imminent sustainability and environmental imperatives are top of my mind. Making things better in the solutions we deliver – to make things better for the world at large – that energises me every day!(I think my best quality is that I’m naturally curious. “Too curious,” says my wife. That toaster with the lever that jams is still in pieces. But I’m working on it!)

   Oct 2015 — Present

   Since 2015, Shivshankar has successfully started a slitting operation in Europe in collaboration with a local partner. Under his expert management, ACG Pharmapack has established a new company and warehousing facilities in Argentina. Currently, Shivshankar S.R is working on a new project that involves the manufacture of aluminum substrates. This is an exciting innovation for the market and primed to go online by 2017.
