At Informatica, leading product development has been a journey of creating cloud-native solutions that enable organizations to harness the power of data. Over past 5-6 years we have focused on delivering a highly scalable, reliable, secure and cost-effective platform which powers many IDMC applications including CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog), CDMP (Cloud Data Marketplace), CDAM (Cloud Data Access Management) and ClaireGPT. This platform played a key role as Infa transitioned from an on-prem to a cloud-only company. This platform enabled rapid innovation by drastically reducing code-to-production time through canary rollouts. Platform provided ability to store and process large volumes of content in a highly-reliable manner through an elastic micro-services based architecture. The ability to cater to many access patterns (real-time vs bulk, traversal vs full-text) enabled fast-paced innovation of IDMC applications enabling successful transition from an opprem to a cloud only market leader.
