About Shiv Gehlot

A vivid admirer of electronics circuits since childhood, I completed B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Eventually, I discovered my love for signals and completed my masters in Signal Processing. After M.Tech, I spent three years in academia, an enriching experience that allowed me to utilize my learning and develop management and public speaking skills.After the short stint in academia, I enrolled for Ph.D. fulfilling my long yearning for research. My Ph.D. is at the intersection of deep learning and computer vision, with medical image analysis as the application. I have explored different domain-specific applications, data modalities, and learning paradigms. The outcomes of this research is published in reputed venues such as Medical Image Analysis (MedIA), MICCAI, ECCV, ICASSP, and ISBI.I am the recipient of the prestigious UGC Junior/Senior Research Fellowship (<6% selection rate) for the Ph.D. I have also received the MHRD scholarship for M.Tech through GATE. I also volunteer as a reviewer for MICCAI, MIDL, ICASSP, ISBI, Access, and other journals.
