About Shivashis Banerjee
A Master of Science in Biotechnology looking to pursue a career in Industry. I wish to contribute to roles requiring writing and speaking skills. I possess extensive and diverse experience in Scientific paper writing, Public speaking and Scientific Design. As such, I am looking to join roles that demand the aforementioned skills. I am excellent at collaborative efforts and team-work. 1) I have authored multiple scientific publications, including first author entries. 2) I have participated and received awards in multiple public speaking events such as debate competitions, presentations and talks. 3) I have worked at the Indian Council for Medical Research- National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (ICMR-NICED) under a Government Research project targeted at Rotavirus Surveillance in children. 4) Volunteered under the National Service Scheme (NSS), to teach children under an outreach programme at Balarampur, West Bengal, India. I have both in-silico and hands-on laboratory experience, in addition to writing and speaking skills. I aim to put them to use at roles in Industry, preferably contributing to the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
