ABOUT SHIVANI VERMA

Thanks for your visit! I am a Master of Science in Plant Biotechnology from the Banaras Hindu University in 2019 with extensive 2 years of Research work on Genomics and Bioinformatics including Python. I have worked as a Project Consultant at a World Bank-funded NRETP project for the past 2 years using SQL. I graduated from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur in 2016 with National Talent Scholarship for 4 years from ICAR, New Delhi. I am looking for opportunities in SDE 1 roles in the back-end, full-stack, and data science. I am also open to quant desk roles such as quantitative research, algorithmic trading, stats & modelling, and portfolio management domains. I enjoy translating real-life business problems into quantitative models in well-defined, objective, and measurable terms, and solving them by leveraging classical mathematics and statistical tools, as well as machine learning techniques. I am proficient in machine learning, statistics, data science, and programming. I also have experience in handling big data sets using SQL. Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful results under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and people management skills with critical problem-solving ability and an eye for detail.
