Design single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and panel schematics. Create detailed electrical circuit diagrams (Power, Control, and I/O) using software like EPLAN P8, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools. Select and specify electrical components such as Circuit Breakers, Contactors, relays, cables, and sensors based on system requirements and standards. Perform load calculations to ensure safe and efficient power distribution. Calculate cable sizes, conduit requirements, and protection settings. Design electrical control panels and layout internal components. Ensure panels comply with standards like IEC, UL, or NEC. Prepare and maintain documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOM), Cable Schedules, Terminal Plans, and Wiring Diagrams. Generate I/O lists and loop diagrams in coordination with P & ID diagrams. Conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), inspecting electrical panels, and compiling comprehensive FAT reports to verify readiness for dispatch. Coordination with Other Teams (Work closely with mechanical, automation, and project engineering teams). Support procurement and production teams by providing clear design intent.
