ABOUT SHIVANI RAO
I am a third-year medical anthropology student in the 8-year Pre-Professional Scholars Program with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I have specific interests in public policy and bioethics, and am pursuing minors in both of these fields. My research experience lies in the field of hematology and social determinants of health, and I have presented my findings at the American Society of Hematology\'s Annual Meeting and the Society of General Internal Medicine\'s Midwest Regional Meeting. I am passionate about women\'s health and wellness and serve as VP of Events for the Women\'s Network and a research intern working on family planning and oncofertility projects. I\'d love to get more involved in clinical and research opportunities to improve healthcare delivery for underserved reproductive patients in the future, and I am willing to engage in entrepreneurship and policy planning initiatives to promote this goal as well!
