Working alongside the white collar crime investigation and fraud examination team I researched on the provisions of and case laws related to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Provident Fund Act, IPC and CrPC as well as concepts such as corporate criminal liability, mens rea, termination obligations and letters rogatory vis-a-vis MLATs.I devised regulatory strategies based on the Food Security Act, The Constitution of India, Consumer Protection Law and Prevention of Money Laundering Act.I drafted an affidavit and an interview memo while also proofreading emails, legal opinions, memos and mail summaries.I researched and tabulated claims based on adverse media pertaining to clients.
