In my current role, I lead communications for Global Business Operations (GBO) at Ingka IKEA. GBO is the global shared services organization that delivers standardized, automated, and cost-effective finance, procurement, and people services to IKEA countries and group functions. With a team of over 900 colleagues across hubs in Bangalore (India), Shanghai (China), Poznań (Poland), and Baltimore (US), GBO plays a critical role in enabling Ingka’s purpose and strategy.As part of the leadership team, I am responsible for shaping the communication foundation through clear narratives and key messages on strategic business topics. I work to position GBO as a trusted business partner by demonstrating its value and impact across Ingka. I work to enable transformation—particularly large-scale initiatives in finance and people services—by simplifying complex changes into clear, relevant communication that supports better business outcomes. I support and equip leaders to communicate effectively as spokespeople for GBO, while also engaging, informing, and inspiring coworkers to connect with our strategy and plan. In addition, I collaborate closely with business leaders to identify priority communication themes and bring the GBO story to life.
